I liked it, BUT...

I LIKED IT...BUT I DIDN’T KNOW WHAT THE F#!K IT WAS ABOUT goes where few “experimental contemporary immersive performance” works dare to tread…out of the theatre and into the bar to see what passes the “pub test”.

Grab a drink and enjoy some tunes with Joel and local musicians for a Pub Trivia Night about the craziest, weirdest, most confusing stuff Joel’s ever had to see on and off of a stage. Joel breaks the ‘fourth wall’ and invites audiences into the world of contemporary dance through games, dance routines and a couple of rounds of trivia. No contemporary dance knowledge required! You could win even win a vegan ‘meat’ tray!

Expect very silly stories about very serious people, served with tongue firmly in cheek. Together, we’ll try and work out how dance shows are created, and why we should care.

  • a sign of what will happen in the future; an omen.

"they heard the sound as an augury of death"
